The structure
The Campaign has 6 regions, one per mythology. Each region has 6 duelists: five duelists and, at the end, the Guardian. Beyond them there is the final region, with the villain Kaelmyr, Devourer of Pantheons. In total there are 37 duelists.
| Region | Mythology | Guardian |
|---|---|---|
| Yggdrasil Fjord | Norse | Freydís, Warden of Yggdrasil |
| Aegean of Heroes | Greek | Aristeia, Champion of Olympus |
| Archipelago of the Kami | Japanese | Kaguya, Guardian of the Torii |
| Valley of the Fifth Sun | Aztec | Itzel, Guardian of the Fifth Sun |
| The Obsidian Necropolis | Egyptian | Merytamun, the Last Sentinel |
| Heart of the Forest | Tupi | Jaci-Miri, Sentinel of the Forest |
How things open up
The six regions are open from the start and independent: you can play in any order. Within each region, duelist number N only opens when you beat N−1; the first one is always open. The final region opens once all six Guardians have been beaten.
The difficulty
The duelist's intelligence rises with position: the first of each region is an Apprentice (made to teach), positions 2 to 4 are Duelists, position 5 is a Master, and the Guardian (position 6) and Kaelmyr play at the Legend level.
| Level | Where it appears |
|---|---|
| Apprentice | Position 1 of each region (tutorial) |
| Duelist | Positions 2, 3 and 4 |
| Master | Position 5 |
| Legend | The Guardian (position 6), Kaelmyr and Legend Mode |

Free duel
A duelist you have already beaten becomes a Free duel: you can repeat it as often as you like, to practice a deck or gather gold and cards.
Rewards
- Gold per win against the computer, by grade: from 20 gold (grade D) to 120 gold (grade S). A defeat pays no gold.
- Daily cap: gold against the computer (repeated campaign, Free duel, Daily Challenge, Legend Mode, Crossing and Trial of the Gods rematches) adds up to at most 300 gold per UTC day. The first win against each Campaign duelist (and the first on each Trial stage) does not count toward the cap.
- A card (drop) on the first win against a duelist, drawn from their table for your grade, with a rarity ceiling set by their role: regular duelists never drop above Uncommon; each region's Guardian drops up to Rare; only the final villain drops up to Epic; no duel drops a Legendary. Rare or better from a duel is a progress milestone, not a perk of every duelist. Each card's odds (ceiling included) are shown in the Codex, under “Where to get it”.
- Rematches: at most 1 card per UTC day, and never above Uncommon.
| Grade | Points (POW or TEC) | Gold per win (computer) |
|---|---|---|
| S | ≥ 90 | 120 gold |
| A | ≥ 75 | 90 gold |
| B | ≥ 60 | 60 gold |
| C | ≥ 45 | 40 gold |
| D | < 45 | 20 gold |

After the Guardian
Once you beat a region's Guardian, it opens Legend Mode (Legend Mode); the Daily Challenge (Daily Challenge) uses duelists from every region; and the Crossing (Crossing of Myths) is a separate journey.
After Kaelmyr: the Trial of the Gods
Beating Kaelmyr opens the Trial of the Gods, the hardest journey in the game. It is a ladder of 7 duels in order: the 6 Guardians come back as the Chosen of the gods of each mythology and, at the end, the Echo of Kaelmyr. Each stage only opens after you beat the previous one. Before that, the Campaign screen and Play show the Trial locked, with what it takes to open it.
- The opponent starts with extra Life — from +3,000 to +5,000 depending on the stage (Legend Mode gives +2,000) —, plays a strong deck with the best cards of its mythology and plays at Legend level.
- Each stage has a divine rule, shown before the duel and on the duel screen: for example, Fimbulvetr (your monsters lose ATK every turn on the field) or Mended Silence (the Echo cancels your constellation bonus and heals once).
- It is a challenge for strong decks: with a deck of common and uncommon cards, a win is rare.
The first win on each stage pays fixed gold, from 400 gold to 1,000 gold (4,200 gold for all seven), outside the daily cap, and one card from the champion’s table: up to Rare on the first six stages and up to Epic against the Echo of Kaelmyr, never Legendary. Whoever beats all seven gets, once, 2 Gold Packs, the title “Chosen of the Gods”, the Frame of the Six Skies (on the profile and on the duel plate, where the opponent sees it) and the Avatar of the Chosen of the Gods, which is never sold. Rematches of stages already beaten pay 50 gold per win, inside the daily cap, with no card.
Before each stage the screen shows the recommended power and your deck’s power: the sum of the 40 cards’ rarities (common 1, uncommon 2, rare 4, epic 6, legendary 9). Below the recommendation, it points to Packs, Decks, the Store and, for whoever is not VIP yet, the VIP (the free pack comes back sooner). It is a recommendation, not a guarantee: plays, fusions and luck still decide the duel.
