Tournaments

Single-elimination brackets between players, created by the game's organizers.

What a tournament is like

MYTHENOR tournaments are single-elimination brackets between players, created by the game's organizers. The brackets have 8, 16 or 32 slots. The entry is paid in gold only (gems, which cost money, never enter a tournament) and the prizes are cards, cosmetics or titles.

The bracket

An 8-slot bracket: the winner of each match advances, up to the final.

Signing up and starting

  • The tournament starts by itself when the bracket fills up (“The bracket starts when it is full”).
  • If the tournament has a sign-up deadline and the bracket does not fill by then, it is cancelled and the entry is refunded.
  • You can leave while sign-ups are open, with a refund.

Each match

In a match, both players press “Ready to duel” with a Competitive deck and the duel begins. Each match has a 24-hour deadline, shown on screen as “Match deadline”.

  • When the deadline passes with no duel, a walkover applies: whoever pressed “Ready” wins.
  • If nobody did (or both did and the duel never happened), whoever registered first advances.
  • A duel already in progress when the deadline ends goes on and decides the match.

What a match pays

A tournament match gives no gold or Elo. It gives career XP: 120 for a win and 50 for a loss. Only the champion and the runner-up are recorded, and tournament milestones give extra XP and count toward Rank gates (Ranks).
