The myth

The June festivals, honoring Saint Anthony, Saint John and Saint Peter, are among Brazil's most popular celebrations, with square dances, bonfires, paper flags and corn dishes. In the Amazon many take place in riverside communities, and that is where the Boto legend usually unfolds: in the middle of the dance an unknown, elegant young man appears in white clothes and a white hat, dances with the young women and vanishes before dawn. The Riverside Midsummer Dance is a MYTHENOR ritual inspired by that story: the music calls, and someone who is not from here comes to dance.

Why it has this power

An uncommon ritual: it offers the Creek Water Snake, the Enchanted One of the Riverbed and the War-Canoe Paddler, three water cards, to summon the Enchanted River Dolphin, an epic with ATK 2750 and DEF 2600. The three river stories rest within him.
