The myth

In Brazilian folklore of Iberian origin, the crossroads is a place of passage between worlds, where strange things happen at midnight. It is there, in many versions, that the cursed woman becomes the Headless Mule on the night from Thursday to Friday, and that the man fated to be a werewolf rolls in the dirt to become a beast. Tales speak of hoofbeats heard in the dark and fire racing along the roads. The Friday Crossroads Rite is a MYTHENOR creation that gathers three rural hauntings to summon the Mule. It does not represent any real religious practice.

Why it has this power

A common ritual: it offers three cards, the Charred Wraith of the Bonfire, the Rooftop Pisadeira and the Corpo-Seco of the Backlands, to summon the Headless Mule, an epic with ATK 2850. All three are undead who rest inside the new story. It is the cheapest road to a fire epic.

Did you know

In some regions, the Mule is said to gallop through seven parishes in a single night before returning to human form.
