The myth

The Living Totem is a MYTHENOR creation and deserves an honest note: tall totem poles with stacked animal faces belong to peoples of the northwest coast of North America, not to Brazil's Indigenous peoples. Here, carved wood takes other forms: benches sculpted as animals, masks, clubs, paddles and trunks used in ceremonies, each with its own meaning for each people. The card imagines a trunk of sacred wood struck by lightning, a reminder of Tupã's power, that wakes up and begins walking through the storm. The region's arena also uses this image from the game.

Why it has this power

A level 4 common with ATK 1550 and DEF 1100: the highest attack among the region's common Machines. It is thunder-element, because lightning woke it. Wisp is the flash of the strike; Hammer, the work of whoever carved the wood.

Did you know

Upper Xingu peoples are known for beautiful wooden benches carved in animal shapes.
