The myth
In many villages along the rivers of the Amazon and central Brazil, fishing with bow and arrow is knowledge passed from generation to generation. The fisher stands still in the canoe or on the bank and aims a little below where the fish seems to be, because water bends light and fools the eye. Fishing arrows have their own points, and the bow is made from chosen woods. The card is a MYTHENOR creation with no specific myth, celebrating that precision: hitting a fish you cannot see clearly means knowing the river better than it knows itself.
Why it has this power
A level 3 common with ATK 1200 and DEF 900: high attack for its level, like a true arrow. It is a wind-element Warrior, because the arrow flies through the air. Feather and Hammer are the constellations of the region's warriors. It is one of the three offerings of the Rite of the Forbidden Hunt, which summons Anhangá.
Did you know
The shift that fools the fisher is refraction: light changes direction as it passes from water into air.
