The myth
True coral snakes are real serpents of the genus Micrurus, relatives of cobras, with one of the most potent venoms among Brazil's snakes. Their red, black and white or yellow rings are a warning: in nature, bright colors often mean "do not touch me". Many harmless snakes, the false corals, copy the pattern for protection. That is why in Brazil there is no simple color rule to tell them apart, and the advice of forest dwellers is the same as ever: leave it alone. The card comes from no myth; it turns that colorful warning into fire.
Why it has this power
A level 3 common with ATK 900 and DEF 700: small and fragile, but with a color nobody ignores. It is a fire-element Serpent, for the bright red of its rings. Sun is that color shouting in daylight; Leviathan ties it to the region's other serpents and to type fusions.
