The myth
The Gjallarhorn, the resounding horn, is Heimdall's instrument. In the Völuspá, as the end begins, Heimdall blows loudly with the horn raised, and Odin goes to consult Mímir's head. Snorri adds that Heimdall rises and sounds the Gjallarhorn with all his strength to wake the gods, who gather in council, and the sound is heard in every world. Snorri also says Mímir drinks from his well of wisdom using the Gjallarhorn, and some scholars think the two horns may be one and the same.
Why it has this power
A level 7 Rare, reached only by fusing Heimdall with Gullinkambi: the rooster crows and the horn answers. ATK 2550 surpasses the regular Heimdall, while DEF 2300 stays the same, for the watchman stands firm. Light element, under Sun and Crown. It is the call that gathers the gods for the final battle.
