The myth

In Norse myth the wind has a known source: in the poem Vafþrúðnismál, Odin asks where it comes from, and the giant answers that Hræsvelgr, a giant in the shape of an eagle, sits at the end of heaven, and the beating of his wings blows the wind over men. Serpents, for their part, live in the sea or beneath the roots of the world tree. No source speaks of a serpent that flies without wings. The Northgale Serpent is a MYTHENOR creation that imagines Hræsvelgr's wind taking on a body.

Why it has this power

A level 5 Common with ATK 1750 and DEF 1200, the highest attack among the common serpents. Wind element, under Feather, the constellation of flight, and Leviathan, that of the great serpents. It is fast and aggressive, but its low guard leaves it open to traps.
