The myth

The samurai of the blazing blade is a MYTHENOR creation; swords tempered in volcanoes belong to fantasy. But reverence for the forge is real. The Japanese sword was made by folding steel many times and then hardening the edge under a layer of clay, which creates the wavy line called hamon. Smiths such as Masamune became legends, and the forge was surrounded by purification rites, with sacred ropes and white garments. Inazō Nitobe wrote that the sword was called "the soul of the samurai". The card imagines that soul still glowing.

Why it has this power

An Uncommon level-5 Fire Warrior with 1850 ATK and 1500 DEF: one of the strongest warriors without fusion. Fire is the forge; Sun and Hammer, the hammered, gleaming metal. With the Folded-Steel Katana he reaches 2350, and with the Code of Bushidō every warrior beside him grows stronger too.
