The myth

Medea was a princess of Colchis, daughter of King Aeetes, granddaughter of the Sun and a priestess of Hecate. In the Argonautica, Eros makes her fall in love with Jason, and she gives him a magic ointment that shields him from the fire of the bronze bulls, then lulls the dragon guarding the Golden Fleece. Fleeing with Jason, she killed her own brother Apsyrtus. In Iolcus she rejuvenated Aeson and tricked the daughters of Pelias into killing their father. In Corinth, abandoned by Jason, she took a terrible revenge, as Euripides' tragedy shows.

Why it has this power

An Uncommon level-6 card with 2200 ATK and 1900 DEF: the offensive magic of one who never retreats. A Fire Spellcaster of the Sun's lineage, she bears the Sun and Fox constellations, grandfather Helios and cunning. Fused with any Dragon, she yields Medea's Winged Dragons, the chariot on which she fled Corinth.
