The myth
The riddle of the sphinx is not Egyptian but Greek. In Greek mythology, the Sphinx, with a woman's head, plagued the city of Thebes in Greece with a question: what creature walks on two, three or four feet and is slower the more feet it uses? Oedipus answered correctly, the human being, who crawls in infancy, walks upright as an adult and uses a cane in old age, and the sphinx killed herself. In Egypt, sphinxes were silent guardians of temples and tombs. The MYTHENOR ritual joins both traditions.
Why it has this power
A rare ritual: it offers the Sacred Temple Cat, the Ram-Headed Warrior of Elephantine and the Oracle of the Eternal Flame to summon the Lapis Lazuli Sphinx, an epic level 9 with 2800 ATK and 3000 DEF. Three right answers wake the one who asks the questions: the feline, Amun's ram and wisdom.
