The myth

Falcon wings were a symbol of power and protection in Egypt. Horus, imagined as a falcon, could fly far from Ra and return with vital information, and the sun and moon were his eyes. In the Book of the Dead, the first of the Transformation chapters let the dead take the form of the Golden Hawk, flying freely between sky and earth. The gleam of gold completed the divine image. The Golden Falcon Wings are the MYTHENOR equipment that lets you see the world as the sky sees it.

Why it has this power

Rare equipment: gives +1000 ATK to a Bird or Deity monster, the largest equipment boost in the Necropolis. On Sekhalu, attack rises to 4100; on Kheperu, to 4400; on Bennu, to 3750. It turns any bird into a serious threat.
