The myth
In the royal tombs of the New Kingdom, the walls showed the sun's night journey through the Duat, divided into twelve hours. The Amduat, what is in the underworld, and the Book of Gates described each hour as a region, and in the Book of Gates each was separated by a guarded gate. Budge published these texts as The Egyptian Heaven and Hell. Knowing the names of the guardians was essential to pass. The Keeper of the Twelve Gates, who holds every key and lends none, is a MYTHENOR creation.
Why it has this power
A rare level 7 Deity of Darkness with 2300 ATK and 2300 DEF, obtained only by fusion: Keeper of the Eternal Threshold plus any Undead, the doorkeeper who comes to command the dead. Moon beats Wisp and Crown beats Scarab.
