The myth
The falcon-headed man is one of the most striking images of Egyptian art. It was the form of Horus and of Ra-Horakhty, the sun crossing the sky by day. Horus, son of Isis and Osiris in one tradition, fought Set at length for the throne and lost an eye in the struggle. The Eye of Horus, the udjat, became a protective amulet and a symbol of the god's watchful presence over creation. This card's warrior is a MYTHENOR figure using that image of aim and speed.
Why it has this power
An uncommon level 5 Beast-Warrior of Wind with 1800 ATK and 1500 DEF: it aims like the falcon and strikes like the wind. Feather beats Sun and Scarab beats Leviathan. With Masks of the Beast-Gods it rises to 2400 ATK and 2100 DEF.
