The myth
Sekhara is the MYTHENOR echo of Sekhmet. In the Book of the Heavenly Cow, a text found in royal tombs such as those of Tutankhamun and Seti I, Ra grows old and humans plot against him. The god sends his Eye, the goddess Hathor, who turns into the bloodthirsty Sekhmet and will not stop the slaughter. To save what remains of humanity, Ra has seven thousand jars of beer dyed red with ochre. She drinks, thinking it is blood, falls asleep and becomes the peaceful Hathor again.
Why it has this power
A rare level 7 Beast of Fire with 2400 ATK and 1900 DEF, obtained only by fusion: Red Desert Lioness plus any Fire card, the lioness who becomes a raging sun. Sun beats Moon and Bull beats Crown. Its high attack and lower defense reflect a fury that almost did not stop.
Did you know
Budge reports that, in memory of this myth, the festivals of Hathor and Ra included drinking a sleep-inducing beer.
