The myth

The hyena is not an important figure in Egyptian mythology; this creature belongs to MYTHENOR. What makes it frightening is the starless night, and there lies a real Egyptian idea. The goddess Nut was the sky, arched over the earth, often with her body covered in stars. At evening she swallowed the sun and in the morning gave birth to it again. A night without stars would then be a sky that has lost its skin of light, exactly the kind of silence the MYTHENOR campaign fears.

Why it has this power

An uncommon level 5 Beast of Darkness with 1600 ATK and 1200 DEF: it laughs in the dark and bites fast. Moon beats Wisp and Bull beats Crown. In the Necropolis Under the Lapis Sky, which empowers Darkness, it gains +500 and reaches 2100 ATK.

Did you know

Nut could be shown as a woman whose star-covered body stretched from one horizon to the other.
