The myth

The horse-drawn war chariot reached Egypt with the Hyksos, in the Second Intermediate Period, and the Egyptians turned it into a decisive weapon. Each chariot carried two people: a trained driver and a warrior with bow, arrows and spear. In the professional army of the New Kingdom, chariots were organized into squadrons of twelve. At the battle of Kadesh, in 1274 before the common era, Ramesses II marched at the head of over twenty thousand men in four divisions named after gods: Amun, Ra, Ptah and Set.

Why it has this power

A common level 4 Warrior of Fire with 1300 ATK and 900 DEF: it shoots at a gallop but cannot withstand a counterattack. Sun, the card's noonday heat, beats Moon; Hammer beats Bull. It makes good use of the Ancient Bronze Khopesh, which gives Warriors +500.

Did you know

A New Kingdom chariot squadron had twelve chariots and twenty-four men, plus its commander.
