The myth

Ehécatl, “Wind,” is the god of air and winds, especially those that bring rain, and is considered a face of Quetzalcóatl. In the codices he wears a beak-shaped mask through which he blows and a conical hat; his temples were round so the wind could circulate without obstacles. In the Legend of the Suns, the second sun was the Wind Sun, destroyed by hurricanes. When the fifth sun was born at Teotihuacan and stood still in the sky, it was Ehécatl who blew hard until it began to move. He is also remembered for giving the maguey to humankind.

Why it has this power

A Level 8 Epic with 2700 ATK and 2400 DEF: the wind strong enough to move the sun. Wind, Feather and Crown are the very marks of Quetzalcóatl, of whom he is a face. Fused with the Ancestral Quetzal, the feathers join the wind and Quetzalcóatl, the Legendary Feathered Serpent, emerges.
