The myth

Many Indigenous peoples have watched the sky closely for thousands of years. For the Guarani, the phases of the moon and constellations such as the Rhea, the Tapir and the Old Man help decide when to plant, harvest, fish or hunt, and mark the passing of seasons. On full-moon nights the forest grows bright enough to see trails, rivers and animals, and many stories told at night take place under that light. The Tupi name for the moon, îasy, gave rise to Jaci. The spell is a MYTHENOR creation: under the full moon, nothing stays hidden in the forest.

Why it has this power

A common reveal spell: it flips face-up all of the opponent's face-down monsters. That way you see what you are facing before you attack, like the full moon lighting up the forest. It is simple, but it prevents surprises and helps plan the next strike.

The Guarani Old Man constellation includes stars that Europeans call Orion and Taurus.
