The myth
In Brazilian folklore one explanation for the werewolf is birth order: in some regions the seventh child in a run of same-sex siblings, or the boy born after seven daughters, is destined to become a beast on Friday nights. The belief came from the Iberian Peninsula and spread across the continent; in Paraguay and Argentina the Luison, one of the seven monsters of popular Guarani mythology, is also a seventh son. The card is a MYTHENOR creation: it shows the young man before his first transformation, when only his eyes betray that something is different.
Why it has this power
A level 3 common with ATK 1100 and DEF 900. It is a darkness-element Warrior, with Moon and Hammer: the full moon that calls him and a fighter's strength. Alone he is modest, but fused with any Beast he becomes the Werewolf of the Friday Night, with ATK 2050.
Did you know
In Argentina, an old folk belief led to the custom of the president becoming godparent to a family's seventh son.
