The myth

There are no dragons in Brazil's Indigenous traditions; this wyrm is a MYTHENOR creation. It draws on a legend told around the Iguaçu and attributed to the Kaingang people. Mboi, a serpent who guarded the waters, chose the young woman Naipi. But she fled by canoe with Tarobá, the warrior she loved. Enraged, Mboi split the riverbed, and so the falls were born. Naipi became a rock amid the cascades and Tarobá a palm tree on the bank, doomed to see each other and never touch. Local residents and guides still tell the story.

Why it has this power

A level 3 common with ATK 1100 and DEF 1200: it defends slightly better than it attacks, like something guarding a curtain of water. It is a water-element Dragon. Moon lights the spray of the falls at night; Leviathan is the water serpent, like Mboi. A simple card to open a game.
