The myth

Gullveig appears in two stanzas of the Völuspá that open the first war in the world, between the Æsir and the Vanir. The gods pierced her with spears and burned her in Hár's hall, three times; three times she was reborn, and she lives still. Later, called Heiðr, she goes from house to house as a völva, practicing seiðr. The name seems to mean something like gold-strength or gold-drink. Many scholars link her with Freyja and with the lust for gold, but the exact meaning of the episode remains debated.

Why it has this power

A level 6 Rare with ATK 2200 and DEF 1800, the strongest Spellcaster below the Epics. The Fire element comes from the three pyres that could not destroy her. Sun and Fox speak of gold and cunning. With the Seiðr Staff she reaches ATK 2900.
