The myth

The huldra, or hulder, is a female being of Norwegian folklore. She is lovelier and stronger than human women and has an enchanting voice, but she hides a hollow back and, beneath her skirt, a cow's tail. She lives in the forests and the mountain pastures and can seduce and hold people spellbound, what Norwegians call bergtatt. Her name comes from hylja, to hide. In the nineteenth century poets and painters made her a symbol of Norwegian nature, and today she is also remembered as an image of strength and freedom.

Why it has this power

A level 5 Uncommon with ATK 1600 and DEF 1400: charm and danger in equal measure. Earth element, from the pine forest, under the Wisp, the deceiving light, and the Fox, the cunning of the seducer. The Seiðr Staff, which strengthens Spirits, makes her a real threat.

Did you know

In some legends, if a huldra married a human in church, her cow's tail fell off.
