The myth
Hliðskjálf is Odin's high seat. Snorri says that sitting there he sees all the worlds and understands everything he sees. In the prose prologue of Grímnismál, Odin and Frigg look out from it over the lands of men, and in Skírnismál it was from Hliðskjálf that Freyr, overbold, caught sight of the giantess Gerðr. The ravens Huginn and Muninn complete that vision, bringing what the eye cannot reach. A single raven uniting thought and memory does not exist in the sources: it is a MYTHENOR creation fusing the two birds.
Why it has this power
A level 6 Rare, available only by fusing Huginn with Muninn. ATK 2150 and DEF 1900 add up what the two ravens were apart. The Darkness element comes from Muninn, memory. The Moon replaces the ravens' Feather, since at night the throne sees farthest, and the Crown recalls the king who sits there.
Did you know
Freyr fell in love with Gerðr after sitting uninvited on Odin's throne, and his punishment was a longing that nearly made him ill.
