The myth

Inari Ōkami is the kami of rice and grain and, later, of prosperity and commerce. Her cult is among the most widespread in Japan, with more than thirty thousand shrines, not counting small altars in homes and businesses. The founding legend of Fushimi Inari Taisha in Kyoto tells that a rice cake used as a target turned into a white bird and landed on Mount Inari, where rice sprouted. Inari is shown sometimes as a woman, sometimes as an old man carrying rice sheaves, and has foxes as messengers. In Buddhism she was associated with the deity Dakiniten.

Why it has this power

An Uncommon level-5 Light Deity with 1800 ATK and 1800 DEF: perfect balance, like the harvest that feeds and protects. Light and Sun are the warmth that ripens the rice; Crown, divine dignity. With Kusanagi, which favors Deities, she reaches 2800.
