The myth

The Erymanthian Boar was a huge beast that came down from Mount Erymanthus in Arcadia to lay waste the fields of Psophis. Capturing it alive was the fourth labor of Heracles. Apollodorus tells that the hero drove it from its lair with shouts, forced it into deep snow, snared it with a noose and carried it to Mycenae. On the way Heracles was the guest of the centaur Pholus; the wine drew other centaurs, a fight broke out, and a poisoned arrow accidentally wounded the wise Chiron. Greek vases love to show Eurystheus hiding in a jar as the boar is brought in.

Why it has this power

An Uncommon level-5 card with 1700 ATK and 1500 DEF: the strength of a mountain, hard to bring down and hard to hold. An Earth Beast for the snowy slopes it came from, it bears the Sun and Bull constellations. It pairs with equipment such as the Nemean Lionskin, which strengthens Beasts and Warriors.
