The myth

The falcon, a swift predator that dives from on high, was the bird of Egypt's warrior and protector gods. Horus, imagined as a falcon, could fly far from Ra and return with vital information, and pharaohs saw themselves as his embodiment on earth. Montu, another falcon god, rose to prominence at Thebes during the Eleventh Dynasty as a god of war. This card's Thunder-Falcon, watcher of the walls who falls like lightning on invaders, is a MYTHENOR creation that joins that image of vigilance and sudden attack.

Why it has this power

A common level 4 Bird of Thunder with 1300 ATK and 1000 DEF: the falcon's dive, fast and direct. Wisp beats Feather, and Crown, the constellation of the kingship it defends, beats Scarab. It is a solid attacker for the start of a duel.
