The myth
This is the Nahua myth of the storm. Tláloc kept great water jars in his palace, and the tlaloque, his helpers, used them to water the earth. When they struck the jars with sticks and broke them, they made thunder, and the falling shards were lightning. A sixteenth-century source says one jar held the good rain while others held frost and blight. The myth explains something every valley dweller knew: the sky that suddenly bursts open with thunder, lightning and downpour.
Why it has this power
A Level 6 Rare with 2250 ATK and 2100 DEF: the drizzle has become a deluge. Water, Moon and Leviathan are the waters crashing down from the sky. It is born by fusing Tlaloque, the Rain Dwarf, with any Thunder monster — the jars only break with the lightning, just as in the myth.

Vessels bearing Tláloc’s face, with round eyes and fangs, were found in Templo Mayor offerings.
