The myth

Abe no Seimei lived from 921 to 1005 and was the most celebrated master of onmyōdō at the Heian court. He studied under the masters Kamo no Tadayuki and Kamo no Yasunori, served as Doctor of Astronomy and founded the Tsuchimikado clan, which dominated onmyōdō for centuries. Collections like the Konjaku Monogatari and Uji Shūi Monogatari show him foretelling the future, breaking curses and commanding shikigami. Legend made him the son of Kuzunoha, a white fox who took a woman's form. Seimei Shrine in Kyoto stands on the site of his former residence.

Why it has this power
