The myth
Pan was the god of shepherds, flocks and the wild mountains of Arcadia, with the horns and legs of a goat. The Homeric Hymn to Pan tells that at birth he frightened his own mother, but Hermes, his father, carried him to Olympus wrapped in a hare's skin, and all the gods rejoiced; hence the name Pan, of all. He played the syrinx, the reed pipe that, according to Ovid, came from the nymph Syrinx, turned into reeds to escape him. Herodotus says Pan appeared to the Athenian messenger before the battle of Marathon.
Why it has this power
A Rare level-6 card with 1950 ATK and 1900 DEF, obtained by fusing the Satyr Piper with any Spirit: the music of the woods and the nymphs become the wild god himself. An Earth Deity, he bears the Sun and Crown constellations. He gains 500 points on Mount Olympus of the Twelve Thrones.
