The myth
Egyptians believed the future could be known. The Seven Hathors, aspects of the goddess Hathor, were present at every birth and decreed each person's fate. In the Westcar Papyrus, the sage Djedi is brought to the court of King Khufu, demonstrates his magic and prophesies that future kings will be born of a woman named Reddedet. The Oracle of the Eternal Flame, who reads the future in flames that never go out, is a MYTHENOR creation inspired by these figures of vision and fate.
Why it has this power
A common level 3 Spellcaster of Light with 1000 ATK and 900 DEF. Sun beats Moon and Fox beats Hammer. It is a material of the Riddle of the Sphinx, with the Sacred Temple Cat and the Ram-Headed Warrior of Elephantine: the oracle gives the answer that awakens the Lapis Lazuli Sphinx.
Did you know
In the Westcar Papyrus, Djedi refuses to demonstrate his magic on a human being, saying it would go against the will of the gods.
